So.
We (HEART) went out with Yap Sheng to visit houses on Saturday. It was grrrreat.
Mum put make-up on for me. I didn't mind the lipliner and lipgloss and foundation and blusher and mascara, but I didn't care much for the eyeshadow.
First, met with Hafeezzah, Affiqah and Elfira, then took them back to my home, where we rang up Rab and asked about where we should meet. The girls raved endlessly about how beautiful my mum was.
Daddy dropped us at Marsiling and we waited for Idil to arrive, a friend of Hafeezzah's. He came ten minutes later and we walked to his home. All of us were complaining about our heels.
We stayed at Idil's for a short while, about fifteen minutes, then went away and caught the 912E to Causeway Point. Met Rab and Yap Sheng at the platform, and we headed to Lakeside station.
Saw Miss Toh there, looking as delicate and as pretty as ever. Rab bought a bubble tea, then we went to wait for about 10 minutes at the bus stop for the 98, under a brutally scorching afternoon sun. During our wait, we exchanged many jokes and funny stories. Saw Mr Lin, our PE teacher, walking past. He smiled at us, we waved back.
I exchanged shoes with Elfira for the fun of it (we've both got the same size feet). The bus arrived, we pushed and shoved our way into it, and got off three stops later and walked to Elfira's house. Had curry, hard-boiled eggs, nuggets and ketupat there. Elfira's mum was really sweet; she gave me and Yap Sheng green packets and was really nice to us, saying I looked like a distant cousin of Elfira's, and even produced a photo to compare. Did I?
We left shortly after eating, then called up Radhiah and claimed we couldn't go. Then, of course, we walked to her house and went to the wrong house on the right floor. Affy knocked on the door and asked for Radhiah.
Wrong house.
We headed up and down another floor, until we went back to the floor we were originally at and found Radhiah's house. SURPRISE!
Ate more there: dodo and curry. LOL.
Watched the SG Idol rerun on the telly for a bit, then we left for another friend of Feezzah's house. Ate even MORE there; mee goreng and chicken wings. We were all murmuring to each other about how heavy our stomachs felt afterwards. Left pretty soon after that.
Elfira went home, and the rest of us took the 240 to Jurong Point (Yap Sheng got off first at Lakeside). I split up from the girls to meet my family for dinner.
Most of the people we visited asked if I was a Malay or a Chinese. Apparently, I look like a Malay from far, mixed from moderate distance, and a Chinese from up-close. Interesting.
PHOTOS.
The shoes I wore. Yes, they were brand new and hurt like hell. I wasted two of my skull band-aids. Fishcake.
