Moods

Keep holding on
'Cause you know we'll make it through
We'll make it through
Just stay strong
'Cause you know I'm here for you
I'm here for you...

She bit her lip hard, almost wishing to draw blood from it, and glared at the monitor of her computer, and re-keyed in her email and password into the Windows Messenger™ window. The icon at the middle of the screen rotated. One, two rounds.

We were unable to sign into Windows Messenger at this time. Please try again later.

"FUCK!"

She was seething now. That same annoying message always popped up whenever she'd tried to sign in. It'd been that way for the past week, and she was sick of it all - and more than anything she'd wanted to give that fucking cunt of a monitor a good swift kick from it's smug position on the desk, but she knew that'd be just plain insanity.

When she went down to play basketball later with her friends, they noticed during a match that she wasn't her usual bubbly self. When questioned about it, she'd simply said she'd had a bad day, resulting in an emo mood. She didn't wish to harp on more on it. She didn't want to think of what happened earlier in school.

When she went home later, the fucking Windows Messenger still refused to work. She uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but when she tried signing in again, the same error happened. Thoroughly annoyed now, she resorted to using eBuddy, and shouted vulgarities at her sister, who wanted to use the computer to play.

What a lovely day I've had.

And when I'm gone
Just carry on
Don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear
The sound of my voice...

New Format

From far away
I feel your beating heart
All alone
Beneath the crystal stars
I'm staring into space
What a lonely face
I try to find my place with you

Just wanna announce that I'm gonna change my format of blogging. Instead of writing first-person narration, I'll be writing in third-person narration. Heh. Starting from...

Now.

She looked up, her eyebrows raised, turned off the music playing full-blast on her phone, and listened carefully.

Sure enough, playing over the P.A. system was a drift of Chinese opera.

Now it wasn't just her listening to the weird music. All conversation had ceased, and everyone was listening intently to the music being played. Soon afterwards everyone was making fun of it. She shook her head, replaced her earphones in her ears, and resumed her music again. Soon she was lost in rock tunes of Good Charlotte and My Chemical Romance.

Later that day, during Literature, a new teacher was introduced, but she took no notice and started doodling some designs on a piece of paper. When the subject of a play was brought up and well-discussed (and mocked), she looked up and studied the whiteboard, and the words written in blue marker on it.

Boy ----
Grandmother ----
Father ----
Mother ----
Witches ---

And when it came to the "Mother" part, everyone shouted her name. The girl sat there, incredulous, and when her name was written down for the casting of roles, she stood up, walked over to the whiteboard, took the whiteboard eraser, and erased her name, then returned to her seat.

After school dismissal, she went to lunch at McDonalds' with her best friend, Lala, and went home after that to receive a phone call from a certain friend who claimed that a particular person in her class claimed she was his girlfriend. After yelling vulgarities at the person down the phone, she hung up in a huff.

So you can see what a LOVELY day I had. =.=

Everytime we lie awake
After every hit we take
Every feeling that I get
But I haven't missed you yet...

Recommendations

Wish cast into the sky
I'm moving on
Sweet beginnings do arise
She knows I was wrong
The notes are old
They bend, they fold
And so do I to a new love...

Went to PC Bunk yesterday with Keith, Le-yi, CP, Le-yi's friends, Derrick and his friend. It was quite fun, I can understand why Le-yi and Keith go there so often. We played Audition for two hours and then had lunch and went to an arcade after that.

Oh yes, I've also just registered for this site, which actually PAYS you to read emails. Believe it or not, it's up to you.

Here.

Also, there's this cool site that translates your English name to a Japanese name. My Japanese name is

Arisa Hasekura. (yes, I'm very proud of it. Heh.)

Here's the site.

Check out both when you're in the mood (and have the time.)

I watched the walls around me crumble
But it's not like that will build them up again
So here's your last chance for redemption
So take it while it lasts because it will end

Want Want WANT!

Now I will tell you what I've done for you
Fifty thousand tears I've cried
Screaming, deceiving and bleeding for you
And you still won't hear me...

I want The Sims 2: Seasons!

Making my Sims having a snowball fight in Winter and being frozen to death sounds very, very appealing. Heh heh.

It costs $40+. I really want it! T_T (Don't tell me to save up for it, because I want SOMEONE to buy it for me. =.=)

Also, I wanna be a...

COSPLAYER!!!

It would be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool to dress up as an Anime character and parade around the streets of Singapore!

Hot Japanese Cosplayers

Unfortunately, to be a cosplayer, you have to have:

1. A Good Figure
2. Know how to sew
3. Be chio

I can only manage #2. T_T

But it'd be super fun if we could go out and dress like that and attract stares from all over the place.

Anyone willing to join me?

Couldn't take the blame
Sick with shame
Must be exhausting to lose your own game
Selfishly hated
No wonder you're jaded
You can't play the victim this time
And you're too late...

Jericho

In this farewell
There's no blood
There's no alibi
'Cause I draw regret
From the truth
Of a thousand lies...

Finally, I have something to blog about! But before I start on that, let me just say...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAOU!

Yes, today is my role model's birthday! Haha!

Anyway, went out for basketball this afternoon with Leon and Chih Peng and my sister and Zhaoye. Didn't really play much, just sat around and chatted and made a few attempts to throw my faded excuse of a basketball. Then came home and read a review about a new game,

Clive Barker's Jericho.

This is the goriest shot I found. Muahaha. Sorry for posting only one picture, but the others weren't very interesting.

Also watched Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer yesterday at Jurong Point. Jessica Alba is as hot as ever, but oh god...

THE MOVIE SUCKED.

It has a pretty pointless plot (alliterations, xD) and is really, really, REALLY, NOT worth watching.

Hmm. What else have I done this week? Oh yeah.

Went out to Rick's place on Tuesday with Le-yi to watch Saw 3. It's really gory and was very, very sick. I didn't really get most of the plot, but I still think that Saw (the first movie of the trilogy, that is) is the best.

I also bought a new earring, which looks like a black nail. Lol. It's kinda heavy and quite sharp too, but I like it. It's punkish and cool. Heh.

Other than that, there's nothing much else to post of.

God, my life is fucking boring.

Eleven more days to prison...

I hope the ring you gave ber
Turns her finger green
I hope when you're in bed with her
You think of me
I would never wish bad things
But I don't wish you well...

The Beauty in Ugly

She's so big-hearted
But not so remarkable
Just an ordinary humble girl
Expecting nothing as we're made to think
It's a pretty person's world...

In case you haven't noticed, I changed my blog's Funeral Song! The song is now The Beauty in Ugly by Jason Mraz. Here are the lyrics to the song:

She's so big hearted
But not so remarkable
Just an ordinary humble girl
Expecting nothing as we're made to think
Its a pretty person's world

But you are beautiful
And you better go show it
Go look again, you gotta be true to your own
If you really wanna go to the top
Do you really wanna win
Don't believe in living normal
Just to satisfy demand

Well if you wanna get free
And if you wanna do the passionate thing
And if you wanna get smart for the sake of your heart
You should own your name and stand up tall
And get real and see the beauty in ugly

Well you are fresh
You're face is fabulous
Don't forget you're one of a kind
When nobody is checking the deeds you've done
and nobody is hearing your cries
You make all of the fashion statements
Just by dressing up your mind

Well if you wanna get free
And if you wanna do the passionate thing
And if you wanna get smart for the sake of your heart
You should own your name and stand up tall
And get real and see the beauty in ugly

And see the beauty in ugly
Well if you wanna get free
And if you wanna do the passionate thing
And if you wanna get smart for the sake of your heart and
Oh you should own your name and stand up tall
And get real and see the beauty in ugly

See the beauty in ugly...

I just LOVE the song! It's also featured in Ugly Betty, the Channel 5 TV show.

If you really wanna go to the top
Do you really wanna win
Don't believe in living normal
Just to satisfy demand...

Movie, TV and Game Horror

Well you are the one
The one that lies close to me
Whispers "Hello, I miss you
Quite terribly."
I fell in love, in love
With you suddenly.
Now there's no place else I could be
But here in your arms...

Bought a new game:

Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green Xbox Game

It's pretty freaky (I know, it's meant to be that way) and it was kinda hard to control the main character's movements, views and aiming. But I guess it was kind of fun - in a sick, demented, twisted way, that is. Could barely sleep the nights after playing the game. I would post some screenshots of the game, but it's not a very good idea because there's plenty of gore and blood in the screenshots (the least gory shot I could find was a blood-covered doctor screaming). So, sorry.

From Monday to yesterday, we (me and my sister) went to our cousins' place to play and to do homework. Heh. Guess how much work I completed.

While at their place, we watched The Grudge. Of course, you've probably heard of it, so I won't post pictures here.

Watched Girl from Hell last night. It was very, very cool. It's an anime and it's on from Monday to Wednesday night at 12 a.m, I think.

And to keep you happy and interested, here are some pictures from the show:

I think it's available on Youtube, but I'm not too sure. Also watched Witch Hunter: Robin after that:

Quite a cool show too, but I think I prefer Girl from Hell.

So, quite a horror-filled week, huh?

And I guess that's about it for this post.

A ghost of you
Is all that I have left
It's all that I have left of you to hold
I wake in the night to find there's no one there but me
And nothing left of what we were at all...

Pirate Fever

The king and his men
Stole the queen from her bed
And bound her in her bones
The seas be ours
And by the powers
Where we will, we'll roam...

I AM UNDER PIRATE FEVER!

After watching Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End, I have become a PIRATE FANATIC!

The show wasn't half-bad actually, but it was much too long for my taste - I was struggling to keep awake during the fighting scenes. But the soundtrack is awesome and there's this beautifully haunting tune, titled Hoist the Colors and which is now my blog's Funeral Song. It's rather short, but if you watched the movie, Keira Knightly as Elizabeth Swann, sings Hoist the Colors as well, somewhere near the beginning of the movie.

Meanwhile, I shadn't give any spoilers to the show, but here are some pictures of the movie:

And last of all, Davy Jones

Also watched Shrek the Third while in Genting (I'm back in Singapore, by the way), but frankly, it was a pretty big disappointment. Sure, it was pretty funny at times, but come on, the newspapers and critics have pretty much given away all the entire plot. But the cat, Puss, WAS FUCKING ADORABLE!!!

"I don't know, senor."

"Some people just don't understand their boundaries."

"Gah! I feel so exposed!"

"Aaahh, I don't know you, but I would like to."

A-DOR-ABLE!

He's even cuter than Raed!

Hmm...who's Raed, you ask? Well, he's this cute and very funny guy I know, and I have a crush on him!!!

No more questions about that, please.

Hmm. I think that's about it for this entry, except that I can't post pictures of the trip now, don't ask why. Sorry!

Yo ho, haul together
Hoist the colors high
Heave ho
Theives and beggars
Never shall we die...
