Syamil's "Surprise" Birthday Party
Last Sunday (16/5) me and some of the MSG folks got together, planning a surprise party for our beloved leader Syamil. Le-yi and I bought Syamil a suggestive card and a black fedora at Causeway Point, then we met up with the others - Leslie, Yi Hui, Sherly, Wei Ren, Science, Zhenqi, Suzanna and Farhan - at the MRT station before we went to catch the 912 bus to Dalini's place. And at the next stop...
Guess who got on?
Everyone screamed, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Syamil told us he'd head home first, and we all alighted a stop too early. It was pouring rain, and only three of us carried umbrellas. So we decided, 6 of us would walk over to the location first, and go back for the rest. I went with Sherly. And on our way there, while we were waiting for the traffic light to change, the others drove by us, waving madly, in a taxi. -.-
We met at the Loy Kee Chicken Shop place (I dunno what's the place called) and went to get the food and drinks and party favors. Dalini and I went to order the pizzas. Afterwards, we walked to Dalini's house and headed to the function room, picking up Red on the way.

We ate the pizzas, drank some (fizzy and really sweet) wine Science had brought, watched TV, and watched Kickass. I had to leave the earliest - at 9. -.-
All in all, it was fun. :)

Dress Your Best Mission
So on the 1st of May I attended the M:SG Dress Your Best Mission.
Was a little late. Met with the others near the Blue Fountain at the Esplanade and got the briefing about the rundown of the mission: we were to kind of photobomb some tourists who were being taken a picture of by our cameramen.
Met a few new people - Drake, Leon, Anderson, Herlina, Sherly, Zhenqi, Jack, Zhong Hao, Jeremy and Weicong, and some of the old ones again - Yi Hui, Leslie, Syamil (of course), Dalini, Science, Koon Hui, Farhan, Woonie and Zi Hao.
After we were all briefed, we walked to the site. I was teamed with Dalini, Anderson, Science and Herlina. We hung around for a bit and tried to act nonchalant until the cue was given, then we all RUSHED to gather around the bewildered tourists and take pictures. CHEESE!!!
Afterwards, we headed to this large wooden deck and sat down playing Truth or Dare cards for a while, before Syamil caught up with us and gave us another briefing. We headed back again for the second round, and trying to act all tourist-y, we took pictures of ourselves.
Science is a total photobomber.
Found another group of "victims", rushed in again. When that was over we went to take group pictures with the Merlion.
After that we all had a debrief, and some of us left. The rest of us went to the Esplanade, and on the way, we encountered a group of senior folks dancing. Naturally, some of us joined.
Afterwards we went into Esplanade and enjoyed the air-con, then headed up to Marina Square on a "human train". God the stairs were quite a hassle. We derailed halfway :(
Went into Starbucks, found a spot, asked the other patrons for chairs, and everyone managed to find a seat. We talked a lot, and played White Magic. ;)
About an hour or so later, we went up to Marina Food Loft for dinner. Was hard going finding a table at first. Us girls - Sherly, Yi Hui, Dalini, Le-yi and me were trying to find a table outdoors, then the guys helped us find another table indoors. Me, Dalini and Sherly had pasta for dinner. Which was GOOOOOD.
Le-yi stole a piece of my bacon. :(
Both she and Leslie had half-boiled eggs for dinner, and poured an ATROCIOUS amount of soy sauce. SERIOUSLY, the egg was SWIMMING in the black stuff.
HAHAHA, me and Le-yi poked Science in the cheeks to create dimples.

We talked till about 10, then we left for home. I, Le-yi, Yi Hui, Zi Hao, Zhenqi and Jack got on the red line train home. Talked a lot there, I quizzed them and Zi Hao mocked us girls for being short. ==
Got home, was exhausted, crashed out shortly after going online.
