Time together is just never quite enough.


Fed up with my mum lately. If it's not studies, it's going out. If it's not going out, it's my friends. If it's not my friends, it's about work.

Goddammit, I'm sick of being treated like a child. EVERYBODY has to grow up sometime, and MY time is NOW.

Studies: Every single hour I have MUST be spent on revision, revision, revision. Yeah, sure.

Going out: NO GOING OUT TILL AFTER N'S.

Friends: WHY MUST THEY ALL BE MALAY? Stupid racist bitch.

Work: Why should I work after N's? You should be grateful that I WANT to work, that I want to earn my own spending money instead of always coming to you and asking for more cash.

Oh noooooooooo, she just DOESN'T see it that way. Hah.

Mood is rose. If you don't understand, never mind. You're not really supposed to.

Bought a few things from Cash Converters. They have a surprisingly wide array of movies and CDs and games. Awesome.

Got a jewellery box and some CDs, and Malcom X, the movie.

Watched Where Got Ghost with family yesterday,at Jurong Point. It was funny, I'll give it that. And scary, at moments. But not worth $8, in my honest opinion. Don't bother unless you've got plenty of cash to spare.

Boy you try so hard, she just laughs in your face. You're a nice guy with the wrong attitude, she wants BAD BOYS, BAD BOYS, all we want is bad boys!

So-so week.

Monday was pretty boring, nothing much. Gotten back almost all my results, and they ain't so good.

English - 75% (Finally broke an A1.)
Math - 58%, C5. Not good.
Chinese - 48%. FML
Science - Phail. 43%, combined.
Humanities - History, 74%. Social Studies, not sure yet. Haven't gotten back my essay. Hoping for a B3.
F&N - 60%, B4.

1 + 5 + 3 + 4 = 13.

Okay, so today was a typical school day. Compo was read out to the class. =/ Pssh.

Went back after school and then went out later in the afternoon with Lezzy to eat and study. Ate at MOS Burger, then headed to the library. For the first time in six years I suffered from mild writer's block. Argh!

Went to NTUC and bought some snacks, then headed home on the 198 bus.

Lezzy was pointing to some guys next to us on another bus, NS guys I guess, 'cause they had shaved heads and wore the same glasses. o_O She said they were looking here. So I turned and faced them and the WHOLE LOT was staring at us. LOL.

One guy made a peace sign to us and we started laughing. I waved back, and MORE guys turned and waved back. HAHAHA, funfunfun!

That could be a habit. ;)

Spent a whole, boring day at home. Pssh.

I love the song De La Vida, by Ill Nino. Keith recommended it to me. I'm now trying to learn the Latin parts of the song.


It's a metal song, though.

Surely you'll recognize this song. Sounds so happy, eh? Wait till you read the lyrics. They're about sex and drugs. LOL.

Emos: An entire subculture of people (usually angsty teens) with a fake personality. The concept of Emo is actually a vicious cycle that never ends, to the utter failing of humanity, and it goes something like this:

1. Girls say they like "sensitive guys" (lie)
2. Guy finds out, so he listens to faggy emo music and dresses like a dork so chicks will see that he is sensitive and not afraid to express himself (lie). He dyes his hair black, wraps himself in a stupid looking scarf, develops an eating disorder, and rants about how "nobody understands".
3. Now an emo guy, he meets Emo chick and they start dating, talking about how their well-off suburban lifestyles are terrible and depressing (lie)
4. Emo guy is just too much of a pussy. His penis is too small, he's too depressed to bathe, and has more mood swings than emo chick, and he doesn't even have a menstrual cycle. Emo chick dumps him, saying "It's not you, it's me." (lie) as she drives off with Wayne, the school jock and captain of the football team.
5. Emo guy goes home and cries, proceeds to write a weak song and strum a single string on his acoustic guitar. Another emo chick sees how he is so in touch with his feelings, and the cycle continues.

Scene: typical "scene" girl:

-choppy hair
-usually black
-septum ring
-has a myspace with pictures of her from crazy angles with a TUFF face on because shes so hardxcore
-goes to local shows all the time
-belongs to a livejournal community called "cuntxcore" or "gungunbangbang" or "murderscene". because anything involving guns, or bang, or murder, or glamour, electric, shock, lust, or cunt, is cool in her book
-often says things like "SUP NIGZ" or "KTHXBAI" or "I HATE YOU KDIE" or "IM COOLER THAN YOU K" or "SUP IM RAD" on their myspace profile
-loves dinosaurs and robots and little girl bows and headbands because its just the way things are in the scene. dont ask them why all of them happen to find all of these things suddenly attractive, because they dont know themselves, its just what TOTALLY SCENExCORE people do.

I don't support either emo or scene, in case you wanna know. To me, emo is a stupid term, invented by whiny losers, when they complain incessantly about shallow things and hardly give a shit as to how to solve their own problems besides broadcasting them to the rest of the world to proclaim how dsyfunctional they are. Scene is much the same, except it is a style, not an attitude.

I don't care if you dress scene, I'd still like you.

And if you dress scene-style and are emo too, you're just a poser.

If you're the sort that's really down, but you don't dress scene-like, you're DEPRESSED. There's a difference.

Still, I have to give kudos to them kids. They look pretty good.

Today's an off day, marking day, 'cause prelims just ended. Chinese papers were alright-ish, but then I've never placed much hopes on passing. Most distressing papers are probably the Sciences.

Wanna head out, but nothing to do, and nobody to go with. Pfft!
