15th June BBQ and True Artist Mission

15th June

Okay, I know this is an entry that's REALLY long overdue. But oh well, at least I'm still blogging about it right?

So, earlier in the day I went with my family to celebrate my mum's birthday at Dempsey Road. We ate seafood at the Long Beach restaurant. Greeeeat food, seriously, I was swooning over the durian puree.

Afterwards, Dad drove me to East Coast Park and I met Rabiahtul, Kinah and Yap Sheng at McDonald's, which was crammed with people watching World Cup. We took some photos, trying to get within the high band of the "smile" meter on Rab's DSLR, but Kinah was the only one who could score that high. :(

After that they walked me to the pit, 31C. Met up with the rest of the people there - Irsyad, Irfan Haziq, Hazirah, Aqilah, Farah, Nadd, Nutdieyarh, Arun, Hambali, Endy, Harris, Syamil, Soleh, Hao Rong, Neezham and Vicky. We played some games like WYR and Charades, then wanted to head to McDonald's to buy food.

But before that, Vicky lost his phone. We were going around searching for it, and suspicion later fell on the other guys who were sharing the pit with us. Oh well.

Went to McDonald's, bought food, went back, ate. During the whole thing we took LOADS of photos.

Nutdieyarh was the most enthusiastic camwhorer. :P

EVERYONE was wearing my beanie. :(

And afterwards we all went to lie down on the mats outside the tent where Nutdieyarh and

Harris were sleeping in.

So we were all talking and laughing till about 4 a.m., when we all finally got some shut-eye.

I stayed awake in the tent and realized it was drizzling at about 6 a.m. I quickly woke the others

up and we dragged our stuff into the shelter nearby. I put a mat on the ground there and fell

asleep. When I woke up, it was FREEZING!

The wind was insane, and it was raining like hell. It was like a goddamn monsoon. We were stuck

inside the shelter for a good hour or so.

Afterwards, me and Soleh went to help a cyclist who had fallen and hurt his leg and face. Ugggh.

Still later, we decided to brave the rain and go home. The others left for the bus stop, while I

went into McDonald's and had breakfast and waited for Dad.

When I got home, I was totally exhausted on account of the lack of sleep. I collapsed on the bed

and crashed for four straight hours.

That about clears it for the barbeque.

True Artist Mission

Very few of us turned up for this one, just the standard gang: me, Le-yi, Weicong, Zhenqi, Yi Hui,

Syamil, Leslie, Wei Ren, Dalini, Suzanna and Farhan. We met at Wheelock first, got organized,

waited for the latecomers and then continued to our locations. I was teamed with Weicong and

Le-yi. So I was like, the lightbulb. ==

We hung around the area outside Takashimaya for a bit, then went up outside Ion and collected

the flyers from Syamil, and hung about near him. Weicong was dared to go and talk to two girls

and ask for their numbers, which he promptly did - much to the shock (yes, SHOCK, not even

SURPRISE) of the poor targets. >.<

Then we met up with the rest of the group and staged our debate about whether the art on the

papers was "beautiful" or "hideous". I was on the "hideous" side.

After that, we finished up and went to Starbucks at Ion and ordered cake and drinks, which had

to be listed out in fear of screwing up the many, many orders. Somebody (I think it was Le-yi)

wrote "Hai, I love you cashier :D" on the paper.

Then, we played CHARADES! We created quite a fuss in Starbucks, what with the crazy guesses

and loud laughter.

It was a super-awesome game, we played Boys versus Girls. Guess who won? ;D

I got the killer word: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. GAH :(

The Boys' team really wasn't so good, they didn't get many of the words. :P

Whereas WE girls racked up about, what, 80 more points? ;)

Then afterwards Hsien came, and we split up. Me, Le-yi, Hsien, Leslie, Farhan and Suzanna went

to Pastamania for dinner. My order arrived even before I was seated. o_o

Leslie, Le-yi and Hsien went to Cineleisure to play pool after dinner, while me, Farhan and

Suzanna headed for the train home.

At the train station, I got asked for my number again. =.=

Then I went home. My feet were aching with the 3-inch platforms I was wearing.

Okay, end.

On a completely unrelated side note:

Thanks to Leslie, I am FINALLY going to be able to own...

Am SO freaking happy! :D I can't wait!

Holidays!

Gah, it's been a long, torturous week.

Monday: Chinese O Levels

Tuesday - Thursday: School remedial from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday: School remedial from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

And now it's Saturday! Officially, this is supposed to be the beginning of my holiday (HA-HA). And instead?

I have a fever. YAY!

Bah.

Anyway, after remedial yesterday, I went to the dentist with Dad and Poo. Had my teeth cleaned and an X-ray taken, in which I was shown that my lower wisdom teeth are growing SIDEWAYS. Freakin' SIDEWAYS. Obviously I'll have to extract them sooner or later. I'm rather hoping for the "later". (Why on earth are these annoying buggers called "wisdom" teeth? It's not like they grant you epiphanies!)

Afterwards, I went to meet the girls at Plaza Singapura. They were hanging at Starbucks, so I went to meet them there.
