Malaysia trips!

Before I begin, be prepared for a shitload of pictures. :D

Okay, so this post is long overdue, I know (but I bet YOU didn't). Well, I was bored, so I decided to post this up.

Let's begin with something to make you shit bricks.

Photobucket

A PICTURE OF ME!!! (The long black thing that's coming down my shoulders is MY SCARF, not my HAIR.

Photobucket

I'm vain. So sue me.

Photobucket

Yes. I ate it. It's a nugget, and I don't know why it was heartshaped. o_O

Photobucket

Went to this restaurant in Sunway Mall, in Malaysia. The coke was HUGE. That was my FIRST impression of the place, and it was a good one.

Photobucket

Me and cousin Cheryl. :D I'm so so jealous of her! She's like, what, 20 cm taller?!

Photobucket

WHY AM I SO UNPHOTOGENIC?! I look like a I have a hole in my chin!

Photobucket

A candid shot. HAHA. Don't let appearances deceive you. I'm actually MUCH fatter than that. Hahaha. AND STOP STARING AT MY CLEAVAGE. *slaps*

Remember when I said I had a good first impression of the restaurant? (Of course you do. Unless you were too busy ogling my cousin Cheryl.) Well, we found THIS. IN OUR SALAD. (Yes, after we ate it.)

Photobucket

A ladybird. HA.

Photobucket

Photobucket

The ceiling of the mall. It gave me a fear of heights just looking up at it.

Photobucket

Christmas decorations.

Photobucket

I know what you're looking at. =_= Stop it.

Photobucket

We were at Penang and staying at this hotel. It was quite nice, the room was huge. But there was only ONE small bathroom for the TEN of us. LOL.

Photobucket

John and Cheryl

Photobucket

I wanna laugh at this picture.

Photobucket

THIS TOO!

The two above photos were taken during the drive up to Genting from Penang. Both are a classic example of "TRYING TO LOOK GOOD: FAIL!"

Photobucket

In Genting. SEE HOW TALL CHERYL IS?!

Photobucket

I hate my teeth and nose and complexion. UGH!

Photobucket

It looks like a witch's hat, but it's actually a fedora. The kind of hat that I'd love to see guys wear.
Photobucket

My adorable dad and my beautiful mum.

The Great Debate

A huge bunch of events have occured recently...some memorable, others...not so.

Anyway, I was bored, so I decided to blog.

Went out yesterday with bolster, Lezzy and SY. Bolster is ebil. He kept poking meh. T_T

Me and Lezzy went to meet the guys at McDonalds. We ate, chatted, then went to the arcade and played some game called Jubeat, or something like that. It was way cute, there're songs like YMCA, Can Can and Kiss Kiss.

While at the arcade, we realised, OH SHIT, WE LEFT THE TICKETS AT MAC'S! Ran back to try to see if we could get them, but were told that one of the staff had thrown the tickets away. =_= Rushed upstairs to the movie counter and one of the managers (I think) told us that we could get in at about 4.45 p.m, which is like 15 minutes after the movie starts. So we went in, watched the movie, and agreed afterwards that it was boring. Lol.

Okay...now for the big debate (in my opinion, at least).

The question is:

ROCK BAND 2 or GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR?!?!

Seriously, I've read tons of reviews on both games. I really can't decide which is better, so I'll start by pointing out the features of both games:

Rock Band 2

Photobucket

Rock Band 2 comes with the game, guitar, drums and microphone. I've heard that the drums are better on RB2, but if I get GHWT, I can play as a full band with three others. But I prefer the setlist for RB2. Songs include:

Avenged Sevenfold's "Almost Easy"
Guns 'n' Roses' "Shackler's Revenge"
Linkin Park's "One Step Closer"
Panic at the Disco's "Nine in the Afternoon"
Paramore's "That's What You Get"
Rise Against's "Give It All"

Heard that it's pretty good, and it's fun to play either alone or with friends. It's also compatible with GH3, which I already have.

Guitar Hero World Tour

Photobucket

Also comes with the game, guitar, drums and microphone. Setlist includes songs such as:

Tokio Hotel's "Monsoon" (I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO PLAYING THIS)
Paramore's "Misery Business" (THIS TOO!)
30 Seconds to Mars' "The Kill"
Blink 182's "Dammit"
Linkin Park's "What I've Done"
System of a Down's "BYOB"

I think I'd prefer RB2's setlist, but I'd really like to have GHWT too.

People, help me. RB2, or GHWT? And for God's sakes don't give me "buy both lorh, LOL" kind of answers.

Also, I'm nuts over Tokio Hotel right now.

Photobucket

People say the lead singer, Bill Kaulitz, looks and sounds like a girl. I agree, but I think he's cute anyway.

Basically they're a German band, but they've achieved relative success on mainstream US charts, with hits like "Don't Jump" (my current favorite), "Scream" and "Monsoon".

I'm currently learning to sing "Monsoon" in German, known as Durch Den Monsun (Through the Monsoon). I've gotten the chorus and first part down, but it's not very smooth.

I also like Tom Kaulitz - the guy with the long hair that's coming out the end of his cap. He's the brother of Bill Kaulitz (that's pretty obvious, isn't it).

As for my favorite song from them, "Don't Jump", it's here, for your viewing pleasure.

If you don't particularly like the song, try reading the lyrics instead. They're what made me addicted to this song.

Town...

Went with Lezzy yesterday to town for her dental appointment, then headed to her mum's shop to meet up. Then as we were going into C.K. Tang to buy a cherry tart, some guy called Chris stopped up on the street and asked us,

"Are you interested in becoming a model?"

Me and Lezzy were...stunned.

Quite frankly, we look NOTHING like models (too short, not pretty (at least for me anyway)), so we let the guy deliver his sales speech. He gave us his business card and took down our names, ages and phone numbers. Shit. Why did I give my bloody phone number?!??!?!

Here's the site.

I've heard that there are scams going around like this, where you'll be called up, be asked to report to a building or something to sign forms, then have to pay a lot of money for courses, workshops, etc. Oh well. At most we'll just put the phone down on him if he calls.

Then we went to Peninsula Plaza to shop for band tees for me. Bought four:

After that, went to Sim Lim Square to catch a glimpse of Z, then was sent home by Lezzy's mum. Will post up things about the Genting trip soon. :D
